J. Waid Griffin loves to paint and, along with his vast technical knowledge, his teaching brings the experience of art as an enjoyable creative process to his students. Painters of all levels, from beginners to professional colleagues, have enjoyed and benefited from instruction directed to their specific interests and skills.

During the summer, Waid attends major shows in the west (see Events and Shows), and presents outdoor plein air workshops.
